Bronny James’ high school highlights begin with spectacular dunk

Like father, like son.

LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, recorded his first in-game dunk Sunday while playing for Sierra Canyon, California’s two-time defending state champions. It’s little LeBron’s first year of high school basketball. It came in an exhibition game against San Gabriel Academy.

Along with the heap of pressure that comes with being the eldest child of one of the greatest basketball players of all time, Bronny, 15, is playing for one of the most competitive high school basketball programs in the country. His Lakers star father is confident Bronny can come into his own.

“Expect a kid that will play for his teammates,” LeBron wrote on Twitter in July in response to a Max Preps article about expectations for his son. “Will work hard, pay his dues and when his number is called he’ll make mistakes like any kid but will be ready and coached very well. Someone who doesn’t care about rankings cause the only thing that matters is his team success.”
